About Our Institute
SHAMAYITA CONVENT SCHOOL
Shamayita Convent School was established on July 18, 1996, by the revered spiritual Mahayogi, Sri Sri Prabhuji. Deeply rooted in rural life, Sri Sri Prabhuji recognized the hardships of the local community and envisioned quality English-medium education as a powerful catalyst for empowerment and global opportunity.
What began as a humble initiative with just 20 girl students in a remote rural region has grown into a thriving institution. Driven by community trust and continuous growth, the school expanded in 2010 to include a boys' wing, creating a truly inclusive, co-educational environment dedicated to the balanced progress of both men and women.
In a modern world often marked by uncertainty, Shamayita Convent School serves as a beacon of light, character, and universal human values. Guided by Sri Sri Prabhuji’s teachings, we believe in helping every child discover their true potential and inner strength, regardless of background, creed, or nationality.
We aim to nurture students who are truly modern—not merely in appearance, but in their outlook, empathy, and resilience. By developing their innate abilities and moral courage, we prepare our students to overcome life's challenges and emerge as compassionate leaders, responsible citizens, and ideal members of society.
